There are many claims to the health benefits of raspberry leaf tea but most have not got conclusive medical evidence to the benefits.
Claims to support respiratory, digestive and uterine health, particularly during pregnancy as well as support the prostrate and various stomach ailments in children are all medically unsubstantiated.
You should be careful before using red raspberry leaf tea or any other herbal tea during pregnancy especially in the FIRST Trimester. And if you are thinking about giving the tea a try, you should always get the green light from your doctor or health visitor first.
